The post holder will support the Head of the Application Management in providing implementation, evaluation and support of eHealth Applications, in line with the NHS Lanarkshire eHealth Strategy. The post holder will also provide support to the eHealth Programme in NHS Lanarkshire. The post holder will work together with colleagues in the eHealth Department and the wider organisation to provide support for eHealth software and services across NHS Lanarkshire. The services provided by the post holder have a direct and immediate impact on the efficient continuity of patient care. The role will also support the development and delivery of NHS Lanarkshire’s modern digital, data driven, electronic health and care record. TrakCare is a key component of NHS Lanarkshire’s digital EHCR strategy and this role will be responsible for ensuring the solution delivers maximum value in support of this for patients and staff. TrakCare is a key strategic solution and is in use across Acute and Community Care settings. The post holder will liaise with Acute and Community clinical staff in NHS Lanarkshire to ensure that all work is clinically appropriate and has the support of NHSL clinical leadership. The post holder will also work together with colleagues in the Digital Department and the wider organisation to provide support for digital software and services across NHS Lanarkshire. The post holder will also work closely with digital colleagues involved in systems that interface with TrakCare. Have you always wanted to work with NHS Lanarkshire? What we'll need you to bring

The post holder should be educated to degree level preferably in a computer-related discipline or be educated to HNC/HND level and have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a technical support role. They should have at least 3-5 years’ experience in a senior technical support/management role in an information technology department. In addition, the post holder should preferably have at least 2 years successful experience in a health service environment. Working knowledge of relational database systems. The post holder will be skilled in current operating systems. The post requires an individual who can demonstrate the following skills: Planning and Organising

Ability to manage workload, prioritise and assist in completion of routine and project workloads. Preferably experienced in the participation of complex projects. Communication

Proven skills of empathy with staff Good communication and inter-personal skills Teamwork

Demonstrate ability to work effectively in a team with both technical and user colleagues. Driving licence is required where applicable. Contract details
