Overview
Implementation Support & Training Officer role with NHS Ayrshire & Arran. The role will design, deliver and evaluate training programmes; co-ordinate and run IT training for staff, and support the implementation of new computer systems within NHS Lanarkshire. The post holder will liaise with users to assess training requirements and maintain summary information about training delivered. You will provide support to Managers and Departments during and after the implementation process. Responsibilities
Design, deliver and evaluate training programmes for staff. Co-ordinate and run IT training programmes for staff in NHS Lanarkshire. Prepare user guides and procedures to support the implementation of new computer systems. Assess training requirements by liaising directly with users of Lanarkshire Applications. Maintain and produce summary information about training delivered. Provide support to Managers and Departments during and after the implementation process. What you’ll bring
Educated to HNC level (preferably in a computing-related subject) and preferably with a formal training qualification (e.g., IITT accreditation). Proven ability to design and deliver training and development packages and to work to tight deadlines. At least 3 years of in-depth experience in a healthcare environment with understanding of interdepartmental relationships. Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint). Full UK/EU/EEA driving licence (where required). Desirable
Face-to-face training delivery to groups or individuals. Car driver with a full, valid UK/EU/EEA driving licence. Contract and Location
Contract type: Fixed Term or Secondment until 31/03/2027. Part time: 30 hours per week (salary pro-rata). Location: Based in Digital within Kirklands - NHSL Headquarters; working pattern Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm. Additional Information
