Akkodis is seeking an
Observability Engineer
for a
contract
with a client in
McLean, VA . You will be responsible for maintaining monitoring reliability, automating workflows, and supporting infrastructure teams in optimizing observability setups. Rate Range:
$41/hour to 56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Observability Engineer responsibilities
Deploy and configure Dynatrace agents (including OneAgent and Synthetic Monitoring) across diverse environments to ensure comprehensive observability. Develop and implement custom monitoring scripts and dashboards tailored to application and infrastructure needs. Troubleshoot and resolve monitoring-related issues to maintain system reliability and performance. Automate observability workflows using tools like Ansible or Terraform to streamline monitoring operations. Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to optimize observability configurations and improve system insights. Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines and other observability tools to support DevOps practices and continuous monitoring. Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years in Observability/Monitoring, with at least 3 years hands-on experience in Dynatrace. Proven expertise in deploying and configuring Dynatrace components including OneAgent and Synthetic Monitoring. Strong automation skills using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and experience integrating observability into CI/CD pipelines. If you are interested in this role, please contact

Pay:
$41.00 to $56.00 per hour Benefits
