We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer Sr to join our team working on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) program, a critical missile defense system for our Nation. As a Project Engineer Sr, you will work closely with the Kill Vehicle Integrated Product Team (IPT) to ensure successful execution of this complex development program. Responsibilities will be broad, but will include managing risk and opportunities including mitigation plans, weekly business rhythm execution for the KV IPT, and program reviews of all types. Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and budgets for the Kill Vehicle subsystem Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks and opportunities to ensure program success Coordinate and facilitate business rhythm activities, including meetings, reports, and other program documentation Support program reviews, including preparation of review materials, coordination of review activities, and follow-up on action items Collaborate with the Vehicle IPT to ensure effective project management and execution across the team Develop and maintain project management artifacts, including schedules, budgets, and status reports Assist in coordinating and communicating with stakeholders, including program management, engineering, and test teams Support the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness Desired skills
Experience with missile defense systems, including kill vehicle subsystems Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment Knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements development, design, test, and validation Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies, including Earned Value Management (EVM) Experience with risk management and opportunity assessment, including identification, analysis, and mitigation Other Important Information
