Position: Material Application Specialist - A&D Sales, Southern California Direct Report: Southern California Sales Manager General Job Description: Duties include, but are not limited to, building the sales of our portfolio of products including Corian Solid Surface and Corian Quartz, Lapitec, Fenix NTM and Arpa HPL. As a Willis A&D Specification Specialist you will build and maintain relationships with Architectural and design firms. To increase sales, you will host product knowledge sessions including lunch and learns, coffee and learn, library updates and other overall relationship building activities. To ensure project completion you will track project progression through all development and construction stages utilizing Willis tracking methods including “Sales Force” and other internal systems. General Responsibilities Promoting Willis and our products Understanding our ideal customers and how they relate to our products Identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with key industry contacts including architects and designers, general contractors and builders Identifying relevant projects, key players and decision makers with the goal of increasing, securing and maintaining product specifications. Working with the sales team and utilizing Salesforce to assist in tracking and holding specified projects through to sale Staying abreast of new products and trends and share insights with management and sales team Partnering with design firms to select color palettes and design solutions Ensuring update to date and current product samples and information on hand for design firms Establishing key relationships and networking opportunities through participation in trade and community organizations such as IIDA, and AIA Customer data updated daily, (including email address, phone numbers, and project information) into Salesforce.
