AECOM is hosting an exclusive, invitation-only hiring event in Philadelphia on October 9-10, 2025. The event begins with a networking mixer Thursday evening (6-8 pm). On Friday, interviews will take place at the Philadelphia office. The role discussed is an Entry-Level Structural Dam Safety Engineer in the East Region Dams Practice. The position will report to the Conshohocken, PA office and is expected to begin in Spring/Summer 2026. Responsibilities

Provide technical support for projects including stability and strength analyses, structural design, Potential Failure Mode Analyses, Semi-Quantitative Risk Assessments, site inspection, construction observation, and regulatory compliance activities for various hydraulic structures. Prepare structural evaluation reports, drawings, and specifications for dam projects. Coordinate with CAD team for structural drawings and visual aids. Prepare and perform quality reviews of other engineers’ deliverables, such as design calculations, engineering reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications. Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams on Dam Safety Engineering projects. Be flexible and willing to travel for project work part-time as needed. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with coursework in Structural Engineering (e.g., reinforced concrete design, statics, structural dynamics, mechanics of materials) or demonstrated equivalent education/experience. Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review. U.S. Citizenship is required due to the nature of work. Preferred Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering exam. Master of Science in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering. Experience with AutoCAD, Mathcad, and structural analysis software (STADD Pro, SAP2000, Ansys, etc.). Additional Information

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Travel is required for this position. Offered compensation will be based on location and qualifications, with a typical range of $75,000.00 - $85,000.00. About AECOM
