The Design Technology Specialist position offers valuable experience supporting existing technologies and workflows as well as implementing emerging technologies on a variety of high profile architectural projects. This role provides exposure to interdisciplinary skill sets including Virtual/Augmented Reality, 3D Modeling, 3D Printing, Building Information Modeling, Architectural Representation and BIM Management. Essential duties include the implementation, maintenance and support of technology related to CAD, BIM, 3D modeling, visualization and related software. The position also provides digital fabrication support and backup for Helpdesk Support Specialists. Responsibilities

Provide first-line support for Revit, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling applications (Revit, SketchUp, Rhino). As directed by the Design Technology Manager, develop standards, interoperability workflows, and training for these applications Coordinate rendering workflow between applications by working closely with studio staff to ensure consistent and efficient rendering and presentation production (Enscape, V-Ray, TwinMotion, Lumion) Maintain an understanding of the presentation graphics workflow and the color print environment Develop and present education initiatives including new staff training and continuing education Support and educate design staff with communication and transfer protocols through the RFI CA Coordination process Assist Design Technology team with research and development projects of emerging technologies such as VR/AR, 3D modeling, computational design, interoperability between software, Metaverse/Web3, project management software Attend relevant AEC virtual and in-person conferences such as Autodesk University, BILT & Adobe Max Develop and maintain customized software deployments (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp etc.) Qualifications

Required Qualifications Minimum Bachelor's degree in architecture, construction, technology, or related areas Minimum 2 years of professional industry experience 3 years’ experience in AutoCAD production and/or support 3 years’ experience in Revit production and/or support Strong organizational and time-management skills Experience providing technical support in an AEC environment Outgoing personality and excellent communication skills Preferred Skills Familiarity with VR/AR applications, AI-driven design tools, and digital fabrication Understanding of sustainable design principles and data-driven analysis Previous experience in training teams and developing learning materials How To Apply
