Title: CMM Programmer Location: Redmond, Washington Duration: 12 months Compensation: 45-50hr Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. Skillset / Experience: ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY We're looking for a CMM Programmer to join our quality team supporting a groundbreaking space and technology initiative backed by one of the world\'s most innovative companies. Responsibilities
Program, setup and operate coordinate measuring machines.
Perform first article, in-process, final and receiving inspections.
Provide feedback to machinists and engineers with dimensional data.
Document, track and complete discrepancy reports.
Maintain and track all inspection equipment calibrations.
Read and interpret blueprints including GD&T per ASME Y14.5M standard.
Provide inspection time estimates.
Maintain configuration control on files and job records.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gauges, optical comparator, and surface plate work.
Experience inspecting tight tolerance, high value components.
Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates.
Basic machining knowledge.
Outside processing knowledge (heat treat, plating, coating, EDM, grinding, etc.).
Qualifications
Machine shop experience in programming and operating inspection equipment.
Experience in CMM programming.
CAD experience Siemens NX, CATIA, Solidworks
Experience with GD&T.
Familiarity with AS9100 Quality Management System.
Nice to Have
Experience working with Aerospace/Medical/Automotive mechanical components
R&D manufacturing experience
Demonstrated leadership experience
