Multi‑Axis CNC Milling Programmer‑Operator (Mold & Die Focus) – PT Tech Base pay range: $25.00/hr - $39.00/hr This range is provided by PT Tech. Schedule & Pay
Monday–Friday start at 5:00 AM; typical finish between 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM. Weekend work as production requires. Overtime: time‑and‑a‑half after 40 hours in a week and on Saturdays; double time for Sunday work.
What You’ll Do
Program and run CNC milling centers; handle set‑ups, change‑overs, loading, and unloading. Create CNC programs and clear work instructions. Operate 3‑axis machining centers; 5‑axis experience is a plus. Select and set cutting tools as specified in programs. Navigate CNC control interfaces (Fanuc, HAAS, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain). Measure, diagnose malfunctions, troubleshoot processes, and adjust to maintain top quality. Follow procedures to ensure every part meets the highest standard.
What You Bring
Hands‑on cutting experience with aluminum, steel, kirksite, and mold/die work. Working knowledge of Fanuc, HAAS, Mitsubishi, and Heidenhain controls; Toshiba tasnuc 999 is a plus. Proficiency with WorkNC and PowerMill programming. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Proven blueprint reading and interpretation skills, including GD&T. Ability to perform calculations and conduct moderate analysis.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 5 years of CNC cutting experience. Prior CNC programming experience required.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Regularly involves walking, sitting, climbing, bending, stooping, grasping, crouching, pushing, balancing, reaching, kneeling, and standing. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
