Raytheon currently has an opening for a temporary System Administrator to perform onsite in our Annapolis Junction, Maryland office. The selected team member will be responsible for performing a full range of information technology functions. While the majority of performances will be in classified areas, some unclassified work will also be required. We’re looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join our team supporting critical operations in both Linux and Windows environments. In this role, you’ll ensure our systems are secure, reliable, and aligned with mission requirements. An active Full-Scope Polygraph clearance is required. What You’ll Do Support end-users with hardware, software, and technical troubleshooting. Build, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and virtual environments. Manage user accounts, groups, and system integration with Active Directory. Apply and troubleshoot technical security controls. Perform updates, patches, and network troubleshooting. Travel up to 25% (domestic, planned in advance). What We’re Looking For Active Full-Scope Polygraph clearance (must be current). U.S. citizenship required. Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience (or Master’s + 3 years, or equivalent). Strong background in Linux and Windows system administration. Hands-on experience with networking, troubleshooting, and security controls. Preferred Skills Script development (Windows & Linux). Project planning and deadline management. Familiarity with security and network tools (Centrify, Cisco Call Manager, Puppet, Splunk, Tenable). Experience working in classified environments.
