Embassy Suites by Hilton Los Angeles International Airport South is currently hiring an energetic, enthusiastic Guest Services Agent (Part-time). This role is responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing prompt and courteous service, assisting guests with checkout, resolving guest challenges, upgrading guests as required, and promoting hotel services and amenities to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability. What will I be doing?

As a Guest Services Agent you will be responsible for greeting and registering guests, providing prompt and courteous service, checking guests out of the hotel, resolving guest challenges throughout their stay, upgrading guests as required, promoting hotel services and amenities, and upselling products. Specifically, you would perform the following tasks to the highest standards: Completes the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming pertinent information such as number of guests and room rate; selects rooms based on guest needs; codes electronic keys; ensures guest knows room location; provides welcome packets and information to guests. Accounts for rooms and services within guest statements; assists guests with checkout payments or charges; accepts and records vouchers, credit, traveler's checks, and other forms of payment. Greets customers with a friendly, sincere welcome; provides accurate information (e.g., hours, VIP programs, events). Receives special requests and forwards them to appropriate team members for action. Answers telephone and email inquiries promptly; inputs messages into the computer and communicates special guest needs; retrieves mail, packages, and facsimiles as requested. Handles guest complaints, researches issues, and negotiates solutions; remains calm during emergencies and heavy activity; plans and executes appropriate actions using judgment and discretion. Pay : The starting hourly wage is $19.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location. What are we looking for?
