Overview
Associate or Professor (open rank), College of Nursing — Lexington, KY. This is a 12-month, full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the Special Title Series, serving as the Associate Dean of Graduate Programs and Practice. Start date anticipated July 1, 2025, but no later than August 1, 2025. Working Title: Associate or Professor, Associate Dean of Graduate Programs and Practice. Department: 7E100:NURSING INSTRUCTION. Location: Lexington, KY. Responsibilities
Direct, manage, and identify resources to support the program’s strategic goals. Assist with recruitment and identification of candidates for faculty positions. Oversee course scheduling and workload effort within the Graduate program; provide leadership and oversight of track coordinators. Promote faculty professional development in teaching, research, scholarship, and service. Manage the performance review process for faculty and support related to promotion, tenure, awards, recognition and committee membership. Facilitate faculty governance and day-to-day operations within the graduate program and practice. Collaborate with the Assistant Dean of Student Success to support student achievement. Oversee development, administration, and monitoring of the graduate program budget; allocate resources and approve expenditures related to faculty affairs. Manage clinical affairs within the College, including credentialing, supervision of clinical staff, clinical contracts, and MoUs across practice plans. Support staff functions within the Graduate Program and Practice areas. Be responsible for the College of Nursing Wilmore clinic and other College of Nursing clinics. Qualifications
Required Education: Earned doctorate in nursing or related field and an active, unencumbered Kentucky RN license. Required Related Experience: Minimum of 10 years of professional nursing experience with expertise in curriculum, demonstrated leadership, and evidence of masterful teaching; strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills; commitment to ongoing scholarship aligned with professional interests. Required License/Registration/Certification: Active, unencumbered Kentucky RN license. Additional Information
