Open Faculty Search - Tenure Track - Physiology and Cell Biology

The Department of Physiology & Cell Biology in The Ohio State University College of Medicine is initiating an open rank search for outstanding scientists for tenure track faculty positions at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor levels. The department provides a highly collaborative research and educational environment with strengths in multiple aspects of cell biology and physiology, including cell signaling, cytoskeletal actin/myosin function, regulation of ion fluxes, striated muscle structure and function, cardiovascular diseases, metabolic function, inflammation, and regulation of lung pathobiology. Excellent candidates in areas related to skeletal muscle, pulmonary or cardiac physiology will be considered. The minimum requirements for the position are a Ph.D., D.V.M. and/or M.D. degree, a commitment to basic and/or translational research, a strong history of scholarly productivity and evidence of excellent potential to maintain an externally funded, independent research program.
