Cherry Hill Weekend Evening Hours:
Fridays from 2:30 to 10:00 pm. And Saturday operating hours are: 1:00 pm – 9:30 pm. MedMark

The Substance Abuse Counselor will assist patients through medically assisting programs and offer techniques for handling opioid addiction. The counselor conducts group and individual sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies. Additionally, the counselor will evaluate patients’ progress during therapy and may collaborate with doctors, nurses, and therapists for patients’ therapy and treatment for the best overall outcome. Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling services; direct service hours at regularly scheduled intervals; coordinate all services throughout treatment. Conduct individual initial assessment and evaluation interviews for service eligibility determination. Coordinate care of assigned patients and present patient status and concerns with the treatment team accordingly. Other related duties as determined by supervisor. Qualifications | Education | Certifications:
Must have current CSC, CAC, CAC-AD, CPC-AD, LCPC, and LADAC as a Counselor at The Professional Board of Counselors & Therapist State of Maryland. Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen. Benefits:
