Inpatient service Weekend call coverage Regional/satellite outpatient clinics Mentorship & education of residents/fellows Interpretation of electroencephalograms and other related studies Related responsibilities in epilepsy care Onsite work location in Aurora, CO Benefits and Compensation
Anticipated pay ranges by rank: Assistant Professor: $224,000-232,000; Associate Professor: $257,000-268,000; Professor: $284,000-$325,000 Total compensation includes generous leave, health plans and retirement contributions Tuition benefit available on all CU campuses ECO Pass: Reduced rate RTD bus and light rail Vacation: 22 days/year; Sick: 15 days/year; Holidays: 10 days/year Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Board Eligibility in Neurology with a Special Competence in Child Neurology Training in movement disorders or sufficient clinical experience to allow for specialization DEA certificate Ability to obtain Colorado Medical License Associate Professor: 6 or more years of clinical experience Prior experience with program development, teaching or research Examples of scholarship Professor: 10 or more years of experience as an attending physician and academic qualifications to fulfill requirements of professor rank Experience with program development, teaching or research commensurate with professor rank Examples of scholarship commensurate with professor rank Additional Requirements
Must pass a drug test through Children’s Hospital Colorado Must be willing and able to pass a national criminal background check Some positions may require testing if access to Children’s Hospital or systems is needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong communication skills Broad knowledge and clinical skills in general pediatric neurology and epilepsy Additional Information
