This laboratory position in the Research and Development Analytical Chemistry department provides support to ophthalmic drug development programs. The selected individual will have key responsibilities for analytical testing supporting activities such as sample analysis, method development, validation, transfer, stability, and troubleshooting. The position is laboratory-based, supporting internal and external projects. The individual will analyze and evaluate materials and products throughout the product development process. Skills and Responsibilities: Develop and validate analytical methods, including HPLC, GC, and Karl Fischer for new drug substances and products. Verify compendia methods when appropriate. Generate analytical data to troubleshoot issues. Design and execute method validation protocols. Conduct stability studies for new drug substances or products. Compile laboratory data and assist investigations for aberrant data. Author technical documents such as method reports and stability reports. Maintain laboratory records and review critical data. Schedule work activities and manage laboratory supplies and equipment. Write and review SOPs related to analytical testing. Conduct investigational studies collaboratively. Ensure compliance with cGMP, safety, and regulatory standards. Evaluate materials and products at all development stages.
