We're hiring an exceptionally talented scientist to join our Neurodegeneration team, with a focus on neuroregenerative medicine and dementia prevention.
At ICR, You'll Play An Integral Part In
Devising novel practical and actionable interventions to slow age-related cognitive decline and prevent dementia
Researching highly translational technologies to preserve existing CNS function or repair/restore damaged CNS components
Collaborating with other ICR scientists to leverage company resources and maximize productivity
Please Apply If You Have
A PhD with several years of postdoctoral experience focused on regenerating lost CNS neurons, repairing damaged CNS neurons or preventing age-related neuronal damage
Extensive knowledge of iPSC-derived in vitro neuronal models as well as experience with exosomes as therapeutics; additional mixed cell-type culture models is preferred
Ideally, You'll Also Have
Deep knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related dementias
Hands-on experience with fluorescence microscopy
Knowledge of basic stem cell-derived neuronal-type differentiation pathways
A deep understanding of modern preventive and regenerative CNS medicine
And You'll Need
A friendly, easygoing personality
The ability to work in the United States without sponsorship
Salary
Starting base pay range: $125,000/yr - $175,000/yr
Starting additional compensation range: $7,500/yr - $17,500/yr
