Overview
This is a full-time on-site role for a Banquet Chef at Hotel Californian in Santa Barbara, CA. The Banquet Chef will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operation for our award winning banquet and group guests. Duties include menu planning, recipe development, kitchen staff management, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality culinary experiences for guests. Qualifications
Culinary arts degree or equivalent experience Proven experience as a Banquet Chef or similar role Strong leadership and management skills Menu planning and recipe development expertise Knowledge of food safety regulations Creativity and passion for culinary arts Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and organizational skills Experience in luxury hotel or fine dining settings is a plus Seniority level
