Assistant Professor of Chemistry (tenure-track)

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate chemistry courses, including lower-level and upper-level lectures and labs, with a focus on organic chemistry or introductory chemistry for health sciences.
Develop new upper-level courses with an emphasis on sustainability and integrate sustainability components across courses.
Establish and sustain an undergraduate research program in sustainable chemistry or a related emerging area; pursue external funding to support the research program.
Foster interdisciplinary collaborations with other UWG programs and local industries.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
ABD candidates will be considered if the degree is completed before August 2026
Salary Commensurate with experience
