The Department of Economics at the University of South Florida seeks to fill two 9-month, full-time and tenure-earning Assistant Professor positions in applied microeconomics, with a start date of August 7, 2026. Salary is negotiable. Job Description The Department of Economics at the University of South Florida is seeking candidates for two Assistant Professor positions in applied microeconomics. Qualifications Doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Economics is required. Applications from individuals who are ABD will be accepted, but the degree must be conferred by the appointment start date. Candidates must demonstrate potential to produce high quality research and the ability and desire to play a role in our PhD program. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor.
