Job Summary The Division of Hospital Medicine, Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Anschutz Medical Campus seeks academic hospitalists at the Instructor, Assistant Professor and Associate Professor levels to join our hospitalist group to practice and teach Hospital Medicine. The position offers an outstanding opportunity to combine clinical medicine with teaching of students, residents, and fellows, including involvement with:
Traditional resident teaching services, developing skills in POCUS, and participation in the Hospitalist Training Program and Advance Practice Fellowship (for Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant). Hospitalists are full-time faculty with opportunities for academic promotion based on clinical excellence, teaching, and scholarship. Administrative responsibilities support leadership development within the hospitalist program and related departments. Scholarly activities and opportunities to publish and engage in research are encouraged.
Key Responsibilities
Providing inpatient clinical care
Teaching students, including Advanced Practice Fellows
Completing administrative obligations
