The Department of Radiology at University of Colorado Denver is seeking applicants for a full-time radiologist and faculty member in the Musculoskeletal Radiology Section. We are interested in candidates at any stage of their career from Sr. Instructor to Professor. Role may focus on clinical work with no research or promotion requirements, with productivity-based compensation and hybrid options. Faculty may teach and are eligible for academic incentives. The department supports relocation and offers a signing bonus. The department has a history of J1 waivers and encourages applications.
Responsibilities
Anchor provider at a primary site of practice with occasional coverage at other Denver Metro sites.
Participate in interdisciplinary conferences and collaborate across services.
Contribute to fellow and resident education.
Maintain regular interaction with referring providers in a collaborative clinical setting.
Work Location
Onsite in Aurora, CO (onsite work required).
Hybrid schedule available depending on section clinical duties.
Remote reading may be possible in some circumstances.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Licensed MD or DO from an accredited U.S. institution (or equivalent). If non-U.S. graduate, ABR eligible or certified, with Colorado license by time of hire.
This is an open-rank position that could be categorized as Sr. Instructor, Assistant, Associate, or Professor based on experience and qualifications.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Interpretation of radiology imaging studies and procedures; competency in basic radiology procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:
Subspecialty fellowship training; experience collaborating with multiple clinical specialties.
