Open Rank- Sr. Instructor, Assistant, Associate, Professor - ED Overnight Radiologist Position #00825956 - Requisition #34952 Job Summary
Exclusive focus on clinical work with no research expectations. Productivity-based compensation plan. In-person, hybrid and remote options available. The department has an excellent track record of obtaining J1 waivers, and candidates are encouraged to apply. Focus on clinical, teaching, and research missions. Academic faculty are incentive eligible. Two positions available: in-house (onsite) or fully remote. Key Responsibilities
On-site option: Night coverage at University Hospital (tertiary care and level-1 trauma, 10 pm–7 am) and Denver Health Medical Center (level-1 trauma, 9 pm–7 am), seven nights a week. Each team member averages 1 week at each site over 7 weeks with a 7-person night team and at least one attending and one resident at each site. Fully remote option: Night coverage at University Hospital from 10 pm–7 am with a 3-person team; average workload is 1 out of every 3 weeks. Interpretation of emergent imaging studies (MR, CT, US, CR/DR). Participation in all aspects of the department's clinical practice across multiple sites. Participation and collaboration through interdisciplinary conferences. Participation in fellowship and resident education. Regular interaction with referring providers in a highly collaborative setting. Work Location

Minimum Qualifications Rank-specific minimum qualifications vary by level (Sr. Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). Typical requirements include MD/DO or equivalent, Colorado medical license by time of hire, ABR certified or eligible. Rank depends on academic accomplishments, career pathway, and input from the Promotion and Tenure committee. Preferred Qualifications Subspecialty fellowship training Experience collaborating with multiple clinical specialties Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Interpretation of radiology imaging studies and procedures Competency in basic radiology procedures How to Apply
