The role involves designing and executing research on novel therapies for human malignancies, collaborating with scientists, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. Core Job Functions
Maintain daily operations and procedures for research projects. Perform and assist with laboratory techniques. Develop and implement new procedures. Record and organize experimental results for publications and presentations. Stay updated with current literature and troubleshoot technical issues. Maintain knowledge of relevant methods and techniques. Follow university policies and safeguard assets. Manage supplies, equipment, and inventory. Maintain or arrange maintenance of lab equipment. Inventory cell samples. Order and organize lab necessities and manage procurement. Participate in clinical research protocols. Keep accurate records of procedures and experiments. Prepare materials following protocols and safety guidelines. Assist with experimental analysis. Experience in Flow Cytometry and Flow software required. Experience with ELISA protocols necessary. Knowledge of Ficol Plaque Blood separation required. Basic understanding of immune surface markers for cell characterization. This list is not exhaustive and may expand as needed. Core Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field. Minimum 3 years laboratory experience. Proficiency with Workday and Office 365. Knowledge, Skills, and Attitudes
Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work under pressure. Discretion in handling confidential information. Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends. Commitment to university values. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Department Specific Skills
Experience in Flow Cytometry, FlowJo software, ELISA, and Ficol Plaque Blood separation. Basic knowledge of immune surface markers for cell characterization.
