Position Overview Spring Branch Independent School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Intervention Specialist - Bilingual. This position may be Title Funded and involves providing instructional support and intervention for students, as well as staff development and collaboration with teachers.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or out-of-state equivalent appropriate for the position.

Bilingual Spanish Certification.

Certification must meet federal and state requirements for qualification and maintenance of the position.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide small group intervention and support classroom teachers through staff development, data analysis, and modeling lessons.

Develop and implement lesson plans in accordance with district curriculum and TEA guidelines.

Assess student learning styles and modify instruction accordingly.

Collaborate with special education staff to adapt curricula per IEPs.

Manage classroom environment and behavior, ensuring safety and engagement.

Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff.

Participate in professional development and district meetings.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills

Two years of teaching experience preferred.

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with educational technology.

Bilingual skills preferred.

Physical and Environmental Conditions

Frequent standing, bending, and movement of materials.

Work involves in-person interaction and managing classroom environments.
