Summary Description The primary responsibility of the Exterior Install Crew Member is to install Botanical Designs exterior landscape accounts in an efficient and organized manner. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Job Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions) Exceed client expectations by providing professional, courteous, and efficient service at all times. Maintain a positive, solution-oriented approach to service and communicate effectively with team members. Project a professional company image, including appearance, hygiene, and language. Communicate effectively: wear operational cell phone daily, respond to voicemails, report incidents, and communicate equipment needs. Understand and uphold quality standards of the Exterior Department. Be flexible and cooperative, following directions from Crew Leads and Management. Install plants per guidance, using proper techniques and ensuring tools are cared for. Drive and maintain a company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and reporting accidents. Contribute to team goals and participate in LEAN activities. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Adhere to safety standards, handle plants and tools carefully, report safety concerns. Display a friendly, professional demeanor and support departmental goals. Be proactive, a team player, decisive, and able to problem-solve quickly. Maintain professional appearance and behavior, build strong relationships, and communicate effectively. Level Requirements At least 1 year of horticultural, landscape, or construction experience. Experience in landscape maintenance or installation preferred. Valid Washington State Driver’s License with a clean record; ability to operate a box truck preferred. Strong plant identification skills, including Latin nomenclature. Experience with landscape tools and equipment. Physical Requirements Regularly talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, handle objects, reach, and work at heights. Frequently climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally. Perform outdoor work with moderate to loud noise; specific vision abilities required.
