Environmental Project Manager About the Company: ARPC, a multi-purpose governmental agency of the State of Florida, provides technical assistance in the areas of economic development, environmental planning, emergency management, transportation, geospatial, growth management, housing, and resiliency to meet the needs of our member local governments within the nine-county Apalachee Region. The Region covers Calhoun, Franklin, Gadsden, Gulf, Jackson, Jefferson, Leon, Liberty, and Wakulla counties and their municipalities. Position Summary: The Environmental Project Manager is responsible for leading environmental restoration, permitting, and construction projects from concept through completion. This position requires strong technical, organizational, and communication skills to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders, funding sources, and regulatory requirements. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Resources, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in environmental project management, permitting, or related work. Working for Apalachee Regional Planning Council is more than a paycheck.
