We’re seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our fast-paced AP team. This role is responsible for processing a high volume of invoices with accuracy and efficiency, supporting internal teams, and ensuring timely vendor payments. Role details:
Accounts Payable Specialist
at The Intersect Group (direct hire & contract opportunities) based in Tempe, AZ. Start: Sept 22 or 29. Hours: Monday - Friday, 8a-5p (flexible to start earlier). Setting: 100% in office. Location: Tempe Town Lake, Tempe, AZ 85281. Reports to: AP Manager. Pay range: $23-$25 per hour. This is a full-time position. Note:

Process high-volume invoices and check requests with speed and accuracy to meet strict deadlines. Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment inquiries. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and documentation. Complete month-end duties and support GL team with invoice entries. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders. Assist with additional AP tasks and projects as needed. Additional duties as assigned. What you should know / have
A sense of urgency and professionalism, with impeccable communication skills to meet deadlines. 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
