Assistant Controller About Us: We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven
Assistant Controller
to support the company’s financial operations and play a key role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency within the Accounting and Finance function. This individual will partner closely with the Controller and leadership team to strengthen financial reporting, internal controls, and overall process effectiveness. Responsibilities:
Support the Controller in overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management. Assist in managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes — including reconciliations, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements. Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies; maintain awareness of regulatory and reporting changes. Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accuracy of financial reporting. Prepare and analyze financial data to support budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making processes. Partner cross-functionally with operations and management teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives. Assist in leading and mentoring accounting staff, promoting accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Contribute to process improvement and system enhancement initiatives to increase efficiency and automation. Participate in external audits and support tax and regulatory reporting requirements. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory or senior-level general ledger experience. Strong understanding of GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments. Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
