Confidential Position Summary – Senior Accountant (Chalfont, PA) The Senior Accountant within the Accounting Center of Excellence (CoE) will be a key contributor to the organization’s financial operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards, and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Lead revenue recognition activities in alignment with US GAAP. Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Operations) to ensure proper contract review and revenue treatment. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations. Participate in balance sheet reviews and resolve accounting discrepancies. Ensure timely and accurate OneStream reporting. Uphold the integrity of financial transactions in accordance with US GAAP and internal standards. Assist with internal and external audit requests and remediation efforts. Document and maintain standard operating procedures for accounting processes. Share best practices and support implementation across the Accounting CoE. Process Optimization & Strategic Initiatives
Identify and lead process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting workflows. Contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Accounting Manager. Qualifications
Education Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline required. CPA or equivalent certification preferred. Experience Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience. Skills Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., JDE, SL9) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint). Demonstrated experience with SOX compliance. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Seniority level
