A publicly traded company headquartered in North Dallas is seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their growing team. This role offers hands-on exposure to SEC reporting (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K), SOX compliance, and corporate general accounting. It's an excellent opportunity for someone coming from public accounting or with SEC experience who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. Key Responsibilities
Prepare external financial statements, footnotes, MD&A, and supporting documentation Coordinate with cross-functional and subsidiary teams to gather reporting inputs Maintain and update SOX documentation; support internal and external audit processes Prepare monthly journal entries for stock compensation, payroll, benefits, depreciation, etc. Handle intercompany billing and corporate expense allocations Reconcile balance sheet accounts and analyze corporate-level expenses Upload trial balances into OneStream for consolidation Process payments via EFT, wire, check (including taxes and board compensation) Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field CPA or CPA-eligible strongly preferred 3–4 years of experience in public accounting or financial reporting for a public company Strong knowledge of GAAP, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance Detail-oriented with strong analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to manage competing priorities in a lean, fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); experience with JDE, Workiva, and OneStream is a plus What’s Offered
