Summary of position: The Treasury Analyst will be a key member of the treasury department, responsible for project finance forecasting and analysis, financial risk management, debt facility modeling, and other treasury activities. The role involves partnering across functions and business leaders to manage best practices in daily cash support, bank reconciliations, insurance, risk analysis, month-end close, journal entries, lender compliance, reporting, and analysis. The analyst must understand and communicate the impact of macro and micro-environment changes on the company's working capital and capital structure, participating in cash, insurance, and lender activities with accuracy. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn about various business functions while collaborating with operations, accounting, legal, sales, and marketing teams. The Treasury Analyst should excel in cross-departmental collaboration and process improvement facilitation. Responsibilities: Calculate core metrics under various scenarios as defined by Rating Agencies. Develop dashboards for Working Capital metrics for management review. Assist in creating and maintaining a minimum cash framework to evaluate short-term liquidity needs. Prepare financial reporting and investor relations presentations. Summarize and communicate financial processes and activities clearly. Coordinate lease vs. buy analyses and assist in capital asset analysis processes. Track, analyze, and report on hedging positions, including quarterly hedge testing and documentation. Collaborate with the Treasury Manager to optimize cash management strategies. Implement and oversee a consolidated banking structure and analyze bank fees. Liaise with banks to ensure compliance with KYC and update bank documents. Support the annual audit process and respond to queries. Perform other duties as assigned by the VP, Treasurer. Requirements: High integrity with clear, direct communication. Ability to work well within a team and manage projects effectively. Advanced analytical and modeling skills with strong attention to detail. Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to suggest improvements. Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively. Excellent oral and written communication skills for interaction across departments. Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Minimum of 3 years of relevant treasury or financial analysis experience. Experience with Power BI, SQL, and other analytical tools is a strong plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook. Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field; an MBA or Treasury certification is preferred. Come grow with us!
