AR and Collections Manager
to join their team. Salary/Hourly Rate:
$90k - $110k + Bonus Responsibilities
Oversee the entire accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation. Manage and improve collections strategies to ensure timely payment from clients. Coordinate with project managers and other departments to resolve billing issues and discrepancies. Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize the accounts receivable function. Prepare regular reports detailing the status of accounts receivable and collections efforts. Review credit applications, establish credit limits, and monitor customer credit worthiness. Oversee the issuance of preliminary notices to preserve lien rights on construction projects. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all collection activities. Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and company policies. Required Experience/Skills
Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts receivable and collections. Experience in the construction industry with a strong understanding of construction accounting principles and practices. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in accounting ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience/Skills
Experience with ERP systems specific to the construction industry. Certification in credit and collections management. Familiarity with lien laws and construction contracts. Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Education
High school diploma is required. Associate's degree is preferred. Benefits
