We are seeking a Senior Casualty Underwriter to join a dynamic and growing team in New York City. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work closely with a group of underwriters. The position focuses on excess casualty lines, with growing emphasis on excess auto and habitational construction risks. You will manage a mix of assigned clients and new business, with strong support for local broker visits and relationship-building. The role offers significant opportunity for regional expansion beyond New York and is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Key Requirements

5+ years of commercial casualty underwriting experience Strong background in E&S/surplus lines underwriting Experience with excess casualty, auto, and habitational construction risks Bachelor's degree required Excellent analytical, communication, and relationship management skills Familiarity with the Northeast broker market is a plus Proven ability to manage and grow a profitable book of business Core Responsibilities

Und underwriting & Risk Analysis:

Evaluate and price complex casualty risks across excess and primary lines Apply sound judgment in structuring competitive and profitable proposals Maintain a strong understanding of rates, forms, terms, and conditions Market Development:
