Seeking a highly motivated Staff Accountant to join the Accounting team. This role plays an integral part of the company’s financial operations, particularly in supporting the month-end close processes, preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and analyzing cash activity. Additionally, this role will involve coordinating with auditors, preparing financial variances, and contributing to special projects such as M&A activities and internal controls documentation. Key Responsibilities
Support month-end closing processes by preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals (e.g., legal, OpEx, SG&A, intercompany transactions). Analyze cash activity to ensure alignment between general ledger and bank accounts. Prepare recurring analyses to support internal management review reports and develop variance explanations on a monthly and quarterly basis. Provide assistance to the Treasury function for daily cash reporting, monthly/quarterly analysis, and bank reconciliations. Act as a liaison for audit requests, coordinating with external, internal, and other auditors as required. Contribute to special projects such as mergers & acquisitions, acquisition integration, SOP creation, and internal controls documentation. Perform other tasks as needed to support business objectives and growth. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Economics, or Finance 0 - 2 years' experience in accounting Proficient in Microsoft Excel US GAAP CPA preferred but not required Prior BIG 4 preferred but not required Seniority level
