We are looking for a
temporary Staff Accountant
to join our manufacturing client in Glendale, WI. The duration is set for
approximately 3 months
to cover a leave. We’re looking for an individual with 2+ years’ accounting experience, preferably in AR, AP, and general ledger. This position is
hybrid
(up to 3 days WFH per week) and full-time hours. Key Responsibilities:
Manage accounts receivable, including applying payments, resolving discrepancies, collections, and reviewing credit references for new customers. Process accounts payable invoices, expense reports, and check requests; prepare weekly check runs (including manual and Canadian checks); and reconcile vendor statements. Prepare and process hourly manufacturing payroll. Reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end close activities. Support internal and external audits and maintain accurate accounting records. Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned. Qualifications:
2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in AR/AP and general ledger. Experience with payroll processing is a plus. Strong Excel and ERP system skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
