Senior Accounting Manager or Director of Accounting
to lead financial operations, enhance accounting processes, and support its continued success. The Role:
As the
Senior Accounting Manager
or
Director of Accounting , you will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, compliance, and operational accounting. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep expertise in
inventory accounting, CPG finance, and ERP system management . You will be responsible for driving process improvements, strengthening financial controls, and partnering with executive leadership to optimize financial performance. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the accounting function, including financial reporting, month-end close, and compliance. Oversee and refine
inventory accounting
processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Manage and optimize
large ERP system
operations, ensuring integration and scalability. Develop and implement accounting policies and internal controls to support financial compliance. Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decision-making. Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and FP&A teams to drive financial efficiencies. Lead audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance to maintain financial integrity. Qualifications:
6+ years of progressive accounting experience , with at least
2+ years in a leadership role . Strong expertise in
inventory accounting
within a
consumer-packaged goods (CPG) company . Proven experience managing
large ERP systems
such as SAP or
NetSuite . CPA certification is preferred but not required. Ability to mentor and develop a high-performing accounting team. Exceptional problem-solving skills and a strategic mindset. Seniority level
