Manager - Accounting and Finance Solutions | CPA A high-growth, venture-backed manufacturing company is seeking an
Accounting Manager or Senior Accounting Manager
to lead complex technical accounting areas and help build scalable infrastructure as the business continues to expand. The company is backed by top-tier investors and is revolutionizing U.S. manufacturing through automation, robotics, and AI-driven production systems. This is a high-impact role offering exposure to both executive leadership and cross-functional teams in engineering, operations, and R&D. You’ll be responsible for advancing the company’s accounting function while supporting its transition toward large-scale federal and commercial contracts. Key Responsibilities
Oversee technical accounting areas including
ASC 606 revenue recognition, inventory accounting, and R&D capitalization . Partner with the Controller to strengthen month-end close processes and improve accuracy, speed, and scalability. Support audit readiness and compliance with GAAP and internal controls. Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership to understand the financial impact of production, procurement, and CapEx decisions. Manage and mentor a small team of Senior Accountants. Drive continuous process improvement, systems enhancement, and accounting automation initiatives. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred. 6–10 years of experience, ideally combining
public accounting
(Big 4 or large regional) with
industry experience
in manufacturing or another asset-intensive sector. Strong knowledge of
US GAAP
and experience with
technical accounting areas
(ASC 606, inventory, R&D capitalization). Prior experience leading or auditing complex, multi-entity, or growth-stage environments. Hands-on, detail-oriented approach with strong communication skills and leadership presence. Why This Role Is Compelling
