We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior Associate

to join our

Commercial Real Estate

practice group. The ideal candidate will have significant experience leading transactions and advising clients across a broad range of commercial real estate matters. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with entrepreneurial clients, take ownership of matters, and contribute to the growth of a high-performing practice group. This position is designed for an attorney who thrives in a client-facing, team-oriented environment and is ready to assume leadership on files, mentor junior attorneys, and participate meaningfully in business development initiatives. Core Practice Breakdown

40% Commercial acquisitions and dispositions 30% Landlord/tenant leasing matters (office, retail, industrial) 20% Private lending and financing transactions 10% Other advisory matters, including entity structuring and title/survey review Key Responsibilities

Lead the negotiation and documentation of purchase and sale agreements for commercial properties. Advise clients on leasing matters, including drafting and negotiating leases on behalf of landlords and tenants. Represent lenders and borrowers in private financing transactions, including loan documentation and due diligence. Manage title, survey, and zoning reviews, and coordinate closing logistics. Serve as primary client contact on mid-size matters and assist partners on complex transactions. Collaborate with team members and support staff to drive efficient, high-quality client service. Supervise and mentor junior associates and paralegals. Participate in firm initiatives focused on business development and practice growth. Qualifications

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials Active membership in the Georgia Bar (or eligibility for reciprocity) 6+ years of commercial real estate experience, including: Handling purchase/sale transactions independently Drafting and negotiating commercial leases (retail, office, and/or industrial) Representing lenders or borrowers in secured real estate financing Strong working knowledge of title, survey, zoning, and land use issues Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with minimal supervision Proven track record of client service and relationship development Interest in mentoring junior attorneys and contributing to a collaborative firm culture Position Details
