Senior Account Executive, Junior’s Sportswear

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Senior Account Executive to join our growing team, based in Commerce, CA. This is a newly created role added due to continued growth, reporting to the VP of Sales. The Senior Account Executive will play a key role in building and maintaining strong client relationships, driving revenue growth, and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions that meet client needs. The ideal candidate brings proven experience in account management, strategic sales, and cross-functional collaboration, along with an established network of retail relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction. Develop and maintain deep knowledge of client business needs, objectives, and challenges. Drive account growth through proactive opportunity identification and solution selling. Leverage existing retail relationships to expand business opportunities and open new doors. Lead the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and contract negotiations. Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, operations) to ensure seamless execution of client initiatives. Monitor account performance, track key metrics, and provide regular reporting and insights to clients and leadership. Mentor junior team members, sharing expertise and supporting their professional growth. Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. 5–7+ years of experience in account management, client services, or sales within junior’s sportswear. Must have current retail relationships with department, discount, and/or eCommerce retailers other than Francesca’s, Alter State, and Boot Barn, specifically in Junior’s Sportswear. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and growth targets. Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build trusted relationships with senior-level decision makers. Highly organized with excellent project management skills. Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite (Salesforce experience a plus).
