Overview

The Embassy Suites South Florida Complex is looking for their next Complex Catering Sales Manager to join their team. The complex includes Embassy Suites by Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street, Embassy Suites by Hilton Deerfield Beach Resort & Spa, and Embassy Suites by Hilton Miami International Airport. The headquarters for sales is based at Hilton Fort Lauderdale 17th Street. Locations feature multiple properties with substantial meeting space and guestroom counts. The ideal candidate will have strong hotel catering or group sales experience, a proven track record of converting leads into bookings, and the ability to manage client relationships from pre-event through post-event. Responsibilities

Develop market segment(s) and solicit new customer relationships. Negotiate business through proposals and contracts to close bookings. Creatively design menus and events to maximize revenue and ensure exceptional event experiences. Maintain and foster existing relationships with corporate and social accounts. Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent, high-level service during pre-event, event, and post-event phases. Direct event logistics and act as primary contact for the client’s experience. Organize, plan, and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals. Communicate promptly with internal and external clients via telephone, email, or in person. Create and maintain client relationships to meet expectations and deliver on them. Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, processes, and related tools. Resolve conflicts, negotiate, and handle complaints to reach satisfactory resolutions. Sell and influence both internal and external clients; make decisions and solve problems by evaluating issues and determining solutions. Ensure high-quality service by guiding others to understand guest needs and providing coaching when needed. Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary. Perform other duties as necessary based on business needs and maintain regular attendance. Qualifications

At least two years of experience in a hotel catering or group sales environment. Proven ability to convert leads into bookings and demonstrate motivation to pursue opportunities. Strong communication, negotiation, and customer service skills. Ability to work with multiple properties and coordinate complex event logistics. Benefits
