We are seeking a Senior Account Executive for our Professional Services team to work with trusted brands and disruptors across financial services, insurtech, consulting, and other advisory-driven industries. You’ll help clients navigate complex markets, build executive visibility, and lead conversations that influence industries. What You’ll Do Media & Influencer Relations Lead media efforts with strong relationships across at least 10 key business, finance, or industry-specific publications Craft and deliver high-quality pitches aligned with client goals Identify emerging media trends and opportunities in financial & professional services Develop influencer and amplification strategies across LinkedIn, business podcasts, and niche financial media Utilize social channels to elevate client visibility and support earned efforts Track media performance and demonstrate ROI with insights and reporting tools Mentor junior team members to strengthen media relationships and pitching skills Client Service & Program Management: lead tactical delivery of client programs including media relations, executive thought leadership, awards, speaking, and content Own day-to-day client communications and lead weekly PR calls Manage projects end-to-end with quality, deadlines, and strategic alignment Develop quarterly PR plans and campaign calendars with trend-based storytelling Monitor industry, competitor, and regulatory news for proactive commentary Lead media training sessions and follow-up deliverables Assist in planning budgets and internal resources Writing & Content Development: produce and edit content with a financial, legal, or professional services nuance Press releases, pitches, executive commentary; contributed articles, blogs, speaking abstracts, awards Messaging documents, backgrounders, Q&As, and media briefing books Translate complex ideas into compelling narratives; maintain tone and brand alignment Insights, Analytics & Integration: lead client reporting and use analytics to guide storytelling and improve campaigns Collaborate with content, design, social, and strategy teams for integrated delivery Support AI adoption to enhance research, precision, or efficiency Mentorship & Collaboration: coach junior staff and contribute to a collaborative culture Lead by example with transparency, professionalism, and drive Agency Engagement & Operations: support new business research and pitches; participate in industry events Contribute to internal training and client case studies What You Bring 3–5 years of PR/communications in an agency setting (required) Experience in financial services, insurtech, or professional services (required) Strong media relationships across business, finance, and trade outlets Ability to distill complex topics into engaging stories Excellent writing and editing skills Confident in managing client relationships and internal teams Familiarity with analytics tools and reporting best practices A collaborative, solutions-oriented mindset Success at Highwire Looks Like Own Media Strategy: secure impactful media coverage for professional services clients Deliver Independently: manage priorities and deliver quality work Think Strategically: identify opportunities or risks and propose solutions Mentor Effectively: uplift junior talent Drive ROI: use data to guide success Collaborate Cross-Functionally: work across teams for integrated campaigns Build Industry Fluency: deepen sector understanding Communicate Clearly: maintain professionalism and proactivity Continuously Improve: adopt smarter ways to work Exceed Expectations: deliver client-ready, on-brand work Why Highwire?
