The Senior Sales Manager for the Resort Division is responsible for achieving assigned goals related to the performance of all resort accounts within their market segments. This role involves prospecting and closing deals within assigned accounts and territories to positively impact resort revenues. The incumbent collaborates with the Managing Director to meet revenue and market share targets for one or more properties. Sales focus may vary depending on the specific resort property assigned. Management-level associates are expected to work as many hours as necessary to fulfill their responsibilities, with overtime applicable and calculated accordingly. Qualifications
Associate's degree with at least 10 years of hotel sales experience. In-depth knowledge of hotel operations, industry contacts, and meeting planner networks. Proficiency in Delphi, contract writing, and strong negotiation skills. Understanding of tours, transportation, and multiple themes for destination resorts. Valid driver’s license for the applicable state. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiation, persuasion, and influencing managerial personnel, guests, and clients. Experience with professional selling techniques: opening, probing, supporting, closing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer skills. Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and demonstrate strong organizational and presentation skills. Responsibilities
Achieve sales and revenue goals, including solicitation call targets, while mentoring others. Conduct solicitation calls, sales tours, and entertain clients in Leisure, SMERF, Business Travel, and/or Groups segments. Develop and grow relationships with existing accounts in relevant segments. Monitor and analyze market segment trends. Maintain a courteous, attentive, and service-oriented approach with guests and colleagues. Adhere to Aimbridge Hospitality’s policies, standards, and sales metrics. Gain comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations and policies. Maintain visibility within the local community and industry organizations. Participate in special promotions and sales initiatives, such as sales blitzes. Attend meetings and other functions as required by management. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Managing Director or resort leadership. About Aimbridge Hospitality
