The Inside Sales Specialist is a critical business partner for our most complex customers and the unique variables that these customers require. In addition to understanding and executing customer-specific requirements, the Inside Sales Specialists work in partnership with the sales team to ensure we meet the customers’ needs. Responsibilities
Quote and order processing. Direct customer communication – inbound and outbound. Monitor ordering for on-time delivery based on agreed customer expectations. Partnership with the Sales Team to ensure long-term account planning activities. Technical consultation. Forecasting of inventory purchases. Vendor Managed Inventory reviews. Engagement with Engineering Solutions as needed. Qualifications
Required Skills/ Abilities
High School Diploma or beyond. 3+ years of sales and/or account management experience. Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Excel, etc.), ERP Systems, and CRM Knowledge. Even better if you have…
Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of customer success or customer service experience. Knowledge of fluid power systems. Fluid power systems training/certifications. Knowledge of the MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) industry. Physical and Work Environment
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements for this position are typical for a sedentary office environment, including considerable time spent in a stationary position, at a desk, using a computer terminal and keyboard. Occasionally, the requirement to move within a wide range of office environments, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting 50+ pounds. Work Environment
The work environment for this position is typical for an office, including protection from weather conditions and typical office equipment noise with the occasional need to operate a motor vehicle and occasional exposure to loud noise and outside temperatures of heat/cold. The environment may occasionally include exposure to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, and exposure to high heat or chemicals. Benefits
