Overview
This person will play a key role in supporting our client's growing team across multiple states & locations, accurately processing payroll, efficient onboarding/offboarding, and well-organized HR operations. Responsibilities
Assist with the payroll processing for multi-state employees Process off cycle payments for prior period adjustments, terminations, and supplemental file payments Provide employee support throughout the employee lifecycle, including payroll checks, timesheet issues, and onboarding inquiries Update and maintain employee benefit deductions, retirement changes, garnishments and other changes Audit payroll entries and timesheet entries for accuracy Manage new hire onboarding and offboarding by setting up employees in payroll system, ensuring completion of I-9/E-Verify requirements, and accurately processing terminations Administer employee status changes in the POS system and HRIS, ensuring timely updates and accurate payroll reporting Qualifications
2+ years of experience Multi-state and multi-unit payroll experience Prior experience in Paylocity and the Office365 suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) Seniority level
