Job Description & Responsibilities
Persistent Systems is seeking a Senior HR Business Partner with a focus on Learning and Development, Performance Management, and Talent Management. This role will align HR strategies with business objectives, enhance employee engagement, and develop a high-performing workforce. The position involves driving organizational health, assessing needs, devising solutions, coaching managers and employees, and supporting team development. The role reports to the Director of Human Resources.
Position Responsibilities
Learning and Development
Implement comprehensive learning and development programs aligned with business needs, in coordination with vendors
Assess training needs via surveys, interviews, and consultations to identify skill gaps
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance employee skills
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and adjust programs as needed
Performance Management
Lead the performance management process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Collaborate with leaders to set performance expectations and provide feedback
Develop performance improvement plans and career development pathways
Analyze performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements
Talent Management
Partner with leadership for talent and succession planning
Develop and execute talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent
Implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and increase satisfaction
Foster a culture of continuous feedback and recognition
Strategic Partnerships
Advise senior leadership on HR matters, providing insights and recommendations
Collaborate on organizational change initiatives
Analyze workforce metrics for strategic decision-making
**Job Qualifications & Experience**
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Management, or related field
10+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner, focusing on Learning & Development, Performance Management, and Talent Management
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment law
Ability to support and scale teams in a dynamic environment
Excellent verbal, written, and influencing skills
Proven track record in developing HR strategies that drive results
Analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills using data
Strong coaching and facilitation skills
Preferred Qualifications
HR Certifications such as PHR/SPHR/GPHR or SHRM-SCP/SHRM-CP
Experience in high-growth, startup, DOD, or tech environments
Additional 10+ years of HR Business Partner experience
The base salary ranges from $114,000 to $142,000 annually, with eligibility for discretionary bonuses.
