Primary Purpose The HR Analyst with strong Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) expertise plays a critical role in driving the efficiency and effectiveness of HR functions. This position is responsible for leveraging UKG’s robust suite of solutions to analyze HR data, optimize processes, and enhance system utilization across the organization. By focusing on talent management, payroll, workforce management, and data reporting, this role ensures that HR technology supports day-to-day operations and aligns with strategic business goals. The HR Analyst acts as a bridge between HR, IT, and business leaders, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, improve decision-making, and maximize the value of the UKG platform.

Essential Functions

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Utilize UKG's analytics and reporting tools to generate meaningful insights and HR metrics, such as headcount, turnover rates, absenteeism, and other key performance indicators (KPIs) and OKRs.

Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to improve HR decision-making.

Create and maintain custom reports in UKG for various HR functions (payroll, recruitment, performance, etc.).

System Support and Optimization:

Administer and optimize UKG HR systems, including UKG Pro and UKG Workforce Management, ensuring smooth operation and alignment with company needs.

Collaborate with HR leadership and IT teams to resolve system issues or enhancements related to UKG.

Provide support for system upgrades, updates, and integrations, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with policies.

HR Process Improvement:

Evaluate existing HR processes and suggest improvements or automation using UKG tools to enhance efficiency.

Support HR initiatives by implementing system solutions that streamline workflows, reduce manual efforts, and improve data integrity.

Employee Lifecycle Management:

Oversee employee data management within UKG, including onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, performance tracking, and terminations.

Ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Training and Support:

Provide training and guidance to HR team members on the effective use of UKG tools and modules.

Serve as a point of contact for HR staff and managers for UKG-related queries, troubleshooting, and user support.

Compliance and Audit:

Ensure HR data and processes comply with legal requirements and organizational policies.

Conduct audits and data integrity checks to ensure consistency and accuracy in the HR system.

Other duties as assigned.

This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field; or a combination of education and relevant experience.

Experience:

Three years of previous experience as an HRIS Analyst; or in a related role with expertise in UKG systems is highly preferred.

In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws and HR compliance regulations, with the ability to ensure that HR processes, systems, and data management practices align with legal and regulatory requirements while leveraging the UKG platform to maintain compliance.

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Experience with UKG systems: Proficiency in UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions, or other UKG modules, including the ability to navigate, configure, and create reports.

HR Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR metrics and present data-driven insights to senior management.

Process Improvement: Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and implement technology-driven solutions to improve HR workflows.

HR Knowledge: Solid understanding of HR functions such as payroll, benefits, recruitment, compliance, and performance management.

Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other data visualization or HRIS reporting tools.

Attention to Detail: Ability to work with large data sets and ensure accuracy and compliance.

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings and training staff.

Salary Range $77,400.00 – $112,200.00 / year

Pay Transparency Statement: At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locations across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by geographic location, job-related skills, experience, education, and certifications. Our total compensation package includes base pay plus a comprehensive benefits program.
