Automated-Testing Systems Engineer - Level 3 or 4 - R10206335 at Northrop Grumman. This role may be located in Morrisville, North Carolina or Fairfax, Virginia. Compensation varies by location. The successful candidate is expected to operate with oversight in a dynamic environment and to be highly self-motivated. The individual will handle diverse assignments, including writing tests and assisting with test design, finding unique solutions, and working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment that continues to grow. Responsibilities
Create the automated testing environment and scripts. Work with the various systems/software elements to verify drivers. Onboard the SEIT and SW teams with Gherkin style and Zephyr. Function with agile principles to execute efficiently in an environment of continuous feedback. Design, develop, document, test and debug applications software and systems with logical and mathematical solutions. Conduct multidisciplinary research and collaborate with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determine computer user needs; analyze system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepare operating instructions; design and develop compilers/assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensure systems/software standards are met. Basic Qualifications (required)
Active Top-Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance at the time of application Willingness/ability to submit for and successfully pass a polygraph Level 3 qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5 years of professional experience Master’s degree in a STEM field with 3 years of professional experience PhD in a STEM field with 1 year of professional experience (excluding internships, research projects, etc.) Level 4 qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8 years of professional experience Master’s degree in a STEM field with 6 years of professional experience PhD in a STEM field with 4 years of professional experience (excluding internships, research projects, etc.) Experience with Satellite Ground Software System verification including Command and Control (C2) and Space vehicle mission management Experience with integration and test (planning, execution, and documentation) Experience with different testing tools and automation Preferred Qualifications
Favorably adjudicated CI or FS polygraph Experience with programming languages (Python, MATLAB, C, C++, Java) Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Visio, Cameo, JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket Experience with Systems Tool Kit (SDK) Experience with Gherkin/Cucumber, Gitlab Experience with Agile program execution Experience with AWS and Docker Total Rewards and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $165,500.00; Secondary Level Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $206,000.00. Final offers are based on factors including responsibilities, experience, education, and market conditions.
