Nest parts for lasers, waterjets, and other sheet/plate processing equipment Use ERP for inventory purposes Maintain necessary clerical records pertinent to the function Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate and work well with other departments and team members regarding accurate and timely completion of projects Identify problems, develop alternative solutions and gather/present information toward implementing alternative actions Demonstrate initiative and willingness to undertake increased responsibility Exhibit ability to prioritize and plan work activities, manage time efficiently and meet objectives to complete projects Demonstrate teamwork by working well with others, offering assistance, responding positively to feedback Other job duties as assigned per the needs of production Encourages company initiatives like safety, LEAN manufacturing practices, and 6S. Have a flexible work schedule and work overtime as needed

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Nest parts for lasers, waterjets, and other sheet/plate processing equipment Communicate material/inventory discrepancies Use ERP for inventory purposes Maintain necessary clerical records pertinent to the function Maintain a clean and organized work area Communicate and work well with other departments and team members regarding accurate and timely completion of projects Identify problems, develop alternative solutions and gather/present information toward implementing alternative actions Demonstrate initiative and willingness to undertake increased responsibility Exhibit ability to prioritize and plan work activities, manage time efficiently and meet objectives to complete projects Demonstrate teamwork by working well with others, offering assistance, responding positively to feedback Other job duties as assigned per the needs of production Encourages company initiatives like safety, LEAN manufacturing practices, and 6S. Have a flexible work schedule and work overtime as needed
Qualifications And Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required Experience with a Windows-based computer system Ability to operate a forklift in conjunction with all safety rules and regulations (where applicable) Ability to read and comprehend documents such as sales orders, slips, inventory records, and receiving documents Ability to write standard documentation and present information to other employees in the organization CAD background, navigate a drawing, Prior experience in AutoCad highly preferred Basic G Optimation Code Knowledge
Preferred Skills
1-3 years’ experience Experience with an ERP such as JobBoss, CSI, etc. A background running lasers, waterjets, or other CNC machines Experience with nesting software, particularly N-Cell Good references with excellent work attendance and attitude Strong communication skills Professional conflict resolution skills Ability to multitask and problem solve Attention to detail Able to prioritize tasks and responsibilities Highly organized Deadline orientated Strong 6S background with sound material flow practices Mathematical and analytical skills, along with a keen sense of attention to detail Seniority level
