Your Impact The Engineering Assistant is a key team member who provides critical support to engineers and construction managers. This role involves data entry, document preparation, scheduling, and file management. The Engineering Assistant ensures accuracy in project reporting and record-keeping while helping the team stay organized and efficient. Responsibilities
Enter units into Fireworks and Bidmaster systems Assist engineers and/or construction managers with research and document creation Reach out via telephone to schedule site survey visits with Lumen customers Support facility mapping for road moves Manage files, maintain records, and process project data Gather and coordinate statistical data for project or departmental reports Monitor compliance and escalate issues to appropriate parties Prepare and submit weekly and monthly deliverables (project schedule updates, status reports, etc.) Perform other administrative and operational tasks as requested Qualifications
Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint Experience working with spreadsheets and data entry Ability to work with limited supervision in a remote setting Good verbal and written communication skills Problem-solving and multitasking ability Previous customer service experience is a plus Experience reviewing construction CAD prints is a plus Knowledge of basic telephony (fiber and copper network facilities) is a plus Compensation and Benefits

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and location. In addition to wages, employees may be eligible for performance and referral bonuses, production incentives, tool/equipment and fuel stipends, company vehicle, per diem or other applicable compensation.
